The more luxurious 3-star Hotel Royal Picardie is situated on the outskirts of Albert.  The casual visitor may not appreciate that The Hotel actually straddles what was once No Man’s Land, when the Front Line of 1918 was pushed to the edge of Albert as the Germans army advanced towards Amiens. The Hotel is located about ten minutes walk from the centre of Albert and the famous Basilica (of leaning statue fame).

All the rooms have a separate WC and bathroom (with bath and overhead shower). There is also an excellent restaurant serving some of the best food to be had for miles around.

Please note that some twin rooms comprise a double bed and a slightly narrower single bed, whilst others comprise two standard single beds.
